Definition of a Graduate Fellow

A Graduate Fellow is defined as a student pursuing an advanced degree at Makerere University, who has been identified within their respective Department/College to facilitate and provide a support role to the teaching and learning of a given academic programme as appropriate.

1. Duties and Responsibilities
2. Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, direct interaction with students in laboratory, conduct of practical and tutorial sessions.
3. Assist in grading papers
4. Assist in supervising undergraduate students’ projects
5. Assist in providing academic guidance and counseling to undergraduate
6. Actively participate in research at the Department
7. Execute any other additional responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department
